Hiring Process

Hiring Process

Pembina is an equal opportunity employer
We’re committed to creating a respectful workplace that promotes diversity and inclusion.

Set up your profile & apply online

As a first step, set up an online profile at Pembina Careers. Once complete, you can apply online for positions and set up a Job Alert that will notify you when new roles become available. You will receive an email confirmation after applying for each position.

Resume review

Our team will review your resume. Please note: we receive a large number of applicants and will only contact those with the most relevant experience.

You may be contacted by phone or email to complete a prescreen assessment. Only those moving on to the interview stage will be notified.

Depending on location and type of role, several interviews may take place, either in-person or through video. At this stage, all candidates are contacted after interviews are completed.

The successful candidate will receive a verbal offer of employment followed by a written offer. All offers are conditional upon successful completion of pre-employment checks.

Pre-employment checks

Upon accepting the offer, you will be contacted by a third party service provider via email to complete the appropriate checks. We will contact you once this process is complete.

New hire paperwork

In advance of day one, you will receive an email from Pembina Career Connections asking you to complete your new hire paperwork online. You will also receive access to our new employee website, which provides information about your first day and our total rewards program.

Day one

You will be part of a new hire orientation session where you will get to meet other new hires and learn more about Pembina! Once complete, your new leader will ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Recruitment Fraud

Pembina is aware that individuals claiming to represent us have offered interviews and false employment opportunities through emails and phone calls. These people will often ask the applicant for personal information or payment.

Pembina does not ask for payment in the recruitment process. Anyone who is offered employment at Pembina is required to first go through a recruitment process, including meeting with us for an interview.

If you receive an email asking you to reply to an address other than one ending with @pembina.com, you believe you’ve received a fraudulent offer, or if you are unsure, please contact us at recruitment@pembina.com. We take recruitment fraud seriously and pass all information we receive to the police.

Protecting your privacy

While we thank all applicants for their interest in working at Pembina, only those who closely fit our needs will be contacted. Your application remains on file following the rules outlined in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada). If you no longer want your application to be considered, please contact recruitment@pembina.com.
