Carmen Lee-Essington is Senior Vice President, Operations at Pembina Pipeline Corporation.
In this role, she oversees all of Pembina’s operations teams, driving consistent operational excellence across our operating footprint to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient outcomes.
Carmen joined Pembina in 2023 as Vice President, Conventional Business Unit, before taking on the role of Vice President, Conventional Business Unit and Oilsands Business Unit in 2024.
She has more than 20 years of oil and gas industry experience holding progressive leadership roles including upstream and downstream corporate planning, oilsands operations, production optimization, reserves evaluation, subsurface development and reservoir characterization.
Carmen holds a Ph.D. in Sedimentology from the University of Reading, UK, a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Calgary and is a member of APEGA®.
