Sarah was appointed Chief Legal, People, and Corporate Affairs Officer in 2026.
In this role, she leads Pembina’s Legal, Human Resources, External Affairs, and Information Services functions, bringing strategic oversight across enterprise-wide priorities.
Sarah joined Pembina in April 2020 as Vice President, External Affairs, where she led communications, government relations, Indigenous engagement, community investment, land, environment, regulatory, and ESG initiatives. She subsequently served as Vice President, Technical Services, overseeing asset management and integrity programs to enhance the safety and reliability of Pembina’s assets.
Sarah’s career spans a broad spectrum of North American and international experience, including regulatory, government relations, health & safety, ESG, legal, and commercial leadership. Prior to Pembina, she worked in the upstream oil and gas sector and held multiple senior roles at Nutrien.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta.
